Pain levels vary by placement and personal sensitivity. Most people describe the sensation as a cat scratch or stinging feeling – uncomfortable but very manageable. Bony areas (ribs, spine, feet, elbow) tend to be more intense than fleshy areas (forearm, calf, shoulder). Our artists work at a comfortable pace and take breaks when you need them.

You must be at least 18 years old to get a tattoo at Zynko. We will ask for government-issued photo ID if there is any doubt about age. We strictly do not tattoo minors under any circumstances, even with parental consent.
Absolutely. We use single-use pre-sterilised needles that are opened in front of you and disposed of immediately after. All equipment is autoclave-sterilised. Artists wear fresh nitrile gloves, and every workstation is fully sanitised with hospital-grade disinfectant before each client. We treat hygiene as non-negotiable.
We use only premium, internationally certified tattoo inks from reputable brands. Our inks are vegan-friendly, heavy-metal free, and dermatologist-tested. We do not use diluted or locally made inks that have not been tested for safety.

Surface healing takes 2–3 weeks in Chennai's hot and humid climate. Deep tissue healing takes 3–4 months. Because of the heat and sweating, it's especially important to keep your tattoo clean and well-moisturised. We recommend lightweight, breathable fabric over new tattoos in summer.
Yes! We offer one free touch-up session within 3 months of your tattoo if the healing results in any patchiness or ink loss (common in certain skin types). Touch-ups due to neglected aftercare may be chargeable. Please follow the aftercare instructions carefully.
